ST CLAIR SHORES, Mich. -

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?

Boogie on down to Colleen's Irish Pub in St. Clair Shores on Saturday and help out a worthy cause while getting your groove on.

The pub, located on 32307 Harper Avenue, will host a 70s themed fundraiser for 4 Paws 1 Heart on April 13th.

4 Paws 1 Heart is a charitable organization which funds medical care for abandoned cats and dogs.

The organization funds treatment for homeless animals and works with local veterinarians and rescue groups to help find them permanent homes.

Wristbands for the event are $10 and include food, raffle ticket and drink specials. Party-goers are encouraged to wear their favorite disco or 70's attire to join in on the fun.

The party starts at 7 p.m. and money raised will go towards helping sick and injured animals in the Metro Detroit area.

Animals like Snickers the cat, who was treated by 4 Paws 1 Heart for an infection that nearly left him blind or Hercules who was left beaten and crippled by his owner, received life saving treatment thanks to the organization.
