Man sought in 2011 murder

DETROIT-The Detroit Police is seeking assistance from the public in locating Antowan Stitts, 25, who is wanted for murder.  

 In a news release, Detroit Police announced: On September 12, 2011, at 3:00 a.m., the Detroit Fire Department responded to a vacant garage fire, located in the 20300 block of Barlow.   After the fire was extinguished, a male’s body was discovered.   The victim, (20), was identified and the cause of death was determined to be homicide.  The Detroit Police Homicide Investigators conducted a meticulous and thorough investigation, identifying Antowan Stitts as the person wanted for this homicide.  The investigators report was submitted for review, and a warrant was signed, charging Stitts with murder.
