Top paying jobs, no college degree required

A college education is so important to compete for most jobs, but there are still some high-paying jobs that do not require more than a high school diploma when it comes to formal education.

24/7 Wall Street compiled a list of jobs that only require a high school diploma by looking at the 2012 occupational profiles from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

However, most of the jobs take years to get by working your way up through a company and are not initially available to those just graduating high school according to 24/7 Wall street.   They are also often dangerous and require a lot of on-the-job training and/or certification.
