Smart Forstars

DETROIT -

Smart is displaying a concept car at the North American International Auto Show that is, literally, a miniature movie theatre on wheels.

The Forstars resembles the rest of Smart’s lineup in size and shape, but what’s on the front grill makes it really stand apart from the rest. The built-in projector on the nose of the vehicle allows the driver and passengers to pull up to any wall and project a film.

While the idea is completely impractical, it’s super fun. The Forstars sits right in the front spotlight at Smart's Cobo Center display, so it’s nearly impossible to pass up as you make your way into the show.

Its sleek design and glowing finish has grabbed a lot of attention so far. But it’s upon closer look that one actually realizes the uniqueness of the vehicle – there is nothing quite like it at the show.

It’s the car and cinema relationship on a new level.
