Attendance remains strong for NAIAS 2013

45,124 attended the auto show on Thursday, which NAIAS says is up compared to last year's attendance.

DETROIT -

As we head into the weekend for the North American International Auto Show, the reported total for NAIAS 2013 public days' attendance as of Thursday is now 458,798, according to NAIAS.

NAIAS says Detroit Tigers Justin Verlander, Miguel Cabrera, Phil Coke, Torii Hunter, and Fox Sports Detroit's Rod Allen are expected to arrive between 11:45am and 12:45pm in the Chevrolet display.

Actress Erin Cummings, founder of her charity "Mittens for Detroit," will also be at the auto show around 7pm. NAIAS said she will be collecting mittens and will appear in the "Auto Show in Motion" parade.
